Foxwell Digital Meta Status
Foxwell Founders Are Currently Reporting The Following Platform Issues
3/26/2026
8:30 am PST - Members mention that ads show a “Delivery error – No Valid Formats” but can’t be edited because Meta says the ad uses deprecated/unsupported options. Happening on Flex Ads (Dynamic formats)
This is a known Meta UI + format compatibility bug. Meta is flagging the ad as invalid because formats/placements don’t match, but won’t let you edit it because the ad type is partially deprecated. Best fix: Rebuild the ad in a new format (don’t rely on editing or duplicating)
3/24/2026
1:30 pm PST - Members noticed that ads built with a Post ID were incorrectly showing a different Facebook Page, despite the correct page being selected during setup, as the ad defaulted to another account’s page.
This is a Meta bug. Post ID / Page Association Bug (Ads Manager publishing issue). Meta had a bug where ads using Post IDs could publish under the wrong Page, requiring manual resubmission to correct it.
3/23/2026
8:30 am PST - Members reported encountering a "Please authenticate your account" error in Ads Manager, and that clicking "Fix error" did not prompt any verification code or email.
This issue is classified as a bug in the Ads Manager UI related to authentication. Specifically, it involves a broken authentication flow where the call-to-action (CTA) is not triggering the verification process.
3/17/2026
5:30 pm PST - Members reported a Meta Delivery / Pacing Bug (Spend Allocation Instability) with sudden overspend spikes (e.g. $150/hr → $700–800/hr), followed by underspending / throttling the next day, and poor efficiency during spike (spend ≠ results)
3/12/2026
9:00 am PST - Advertisers reported abnormal budget pacing starting the evening of March 11 and continuing on March 12.
Yes, this looks like a Meta pacing bug affecting delivery timing. Some accounts overspend early in the day while others underspend. It’s likely related to the delivery system recalculating pacing signals, especially in cost-controlled campaigns.
3/10/2026
1:00 am PST - Meta began rolling out a global change replacing Nielsen DMAs with Comscore Markets. Issue: DMA → Comscore Markets rollout broke location exclusions.
Bug Type: Ads Manager validation bug.
Impact: Advertisers couldn’t publish ad sets using excluded DMAs (commonly used in geo holdouts)
Cause: Meta deprecated DMA location IDs but did not update the validator or UI simultaneously.
3/4/2026
12:00 pm PST - Meta’s AI-generated ad overlays were automatically displaying a “30% off / Get Offer” style promotion on ads even though the advertiser does not actually run that discount. This likely happened because Overlays were enabled, allowing Meta’s AI to dynamically generate promotional messaging based on signals from the catalog, site, or past offers.
This is a Meta AI / automation bug. This is essentially AI creative hallucination, where the system guesses a promotion exists and injects it into the ad overlay.
3/3/2026
1:30 pm PST - members were receiving an error in Ads Manager that prevented normal actions, including:
Publishing ads
Duplicating ads (images not pulling in)
General Ads Manager errors appearing across multiple accounts
This is a Meta Ads Manager Platform Outage / Publishing Failure Bug. These bugs are almost always fixed automatically by Meta within minutes to a few hours.
2/26/2026
8:00 am PST - The member said that when trying to accept a Business Manager invitation, the email arrives but clicking “View Invitation” redirects him to a different, random Business Manager instead of starting the onboarding process, preventing him from gaining access.
It is very likely a Meta Business Manager bug, and it’s one that pops up periodically.
2/23/2026
8:00 am PST - A personal Meta profile block is preventing the user from accessing one or more ad accounts tied to that profile.
Sometimes a bug, but not always. It’s a bug when an account enforcement / access-control bug tied to sensitive ad category handling or mistaken automated enforcement on the personal profile level, which then cascades to Business Manager and ad account access.
2/20/2026
11:00 am PST - Multiple accounts are showing a warning/flag in Meta that doesn’t link anywhere and isn’t tied to any Events Manager errors, source categories, or H&W classifications.
This is a bug. A UI / notification rendering bug (false warning banner) — not a tracking, pixel, or policy enforcement issue, and no actual account problem detected.
2/17/2026
9:00 pm PST - A member reported that Meta was showing less spend in the Dynamic Creative headline breakdown than the total ad set spend, even though the ad set itself showed higher spend.
This is a Meta reporting bug / delay pattern, not an actual delivery or spend issue.
2/11/2026
9:00 am PST - Multiple users report that editing bid caps causes the input field to disappear or not save, while spend behavior becomes inconsistent (over-delivery or throttling), suggesting a platform-side issue rather than an account-level setup problem.
This is a Meta Ads UI bug affecting manual bid controls
2/5/2026
Multiple advertisers have recently seen ads display without a CTA button despite a CTA being correctly selected at setup, and no consistent fix has been identified.
It’s a Meta ad rendering bug.
1/27/2026
8:00 am PST - The Conversion section in Ads Manager fails to load and spins indefinitely, even after clearing cache, using incognito, switching browsers, and re-logging. This prevents selecting or reviewing conversion events.
It’s a bug. This is a Meta UI/backend bug. It’s a known issue where the conversion module fails to render due to a platform-side loading or permissions glitch, not anything wrong with the account or browser.
1/22/2026
Meta is throwing incorrect or misleading errors when setting up whitelisted/partnership ads, even though the setup is being done correctly and matches past workflows. This often happens when ads are duplicated and then edited, causing Meta to think certain settings are enabled when they are not.
This is a known Meta bug. Rebuilding the partnership ad from scratch (not duplicating) typically clears the error, which confirms it’s a platform-side state/metadata issue rather than a permissions or setup problem.
1/20/2026
Multiple advertisers saw significant underspending across accounts on the same day, with no setup changes, suggesting platform-wide delivery volatility rather than account-specific problems.
Possibly a bug / likely platform instability.
While post-holiday demand (day after MLK Day) can contribute to slower delivery, the widespread nature and recent increase in pacing volatility point to a Meta delivery instability rather than normal auction behavior alone.
1/19/2026
Events Manager gets stuck on a white “Loading Events Manager” screen when viewing the last 24 hours, primarily in Safari. This is typically caused by Safari’s cross-site tracking / privacy settings interfering with Meta’s scripts.
It’s a browser-specific bug (Safari × Meta). Not a Meta-wide outage; toggling Safari’s cross-site tracking or switching browsers usually resolves it.
1/12/2026
7:00 am PST - Ads Manager is auto-scrolling the table all the way to the right whenever users change dates or sort columns, forcing them to constantly scroll back to their metrics. This is a Meta UI bug in the reporting table (not related to Compare mode) and has been hitting multiple users today.
1/11/2026
6:00 pm PST - There’s a sudden, severe drop (up to ~80%) in the click → landing page view rate on iOS devices starting around Jan 6, affecting multiple accounts with no campaign changes. This is iOS-specific (iPhone/iPad) and is showing up as higher CPAs and weaker performance, not just a visual reporting anomaly.
It’s not broken tracking (pixels/CAPI are firing), but a Meta–iOS delivery/measurement problem that’s impacting real performance (fewer LPVs per click), not just reporting. The cause appears to be changes or instability on the iOS side interacting with Meta’s systems, and it’s widespread.
1/8/2026
Meta is showing a sudden, extreme spike in reported Facebook Ads spend (+1,192%) with an abrupt jump and drop in the chart. This is a Meta reporting glitch (not real delivery), commonly caused by delayed spend posting, batch reconciliation, or dashboard refresh errors rather than an actual budget change or auction behavior.
It’s a reporting/UI issue, not real-time delivery or actual spend behavior, and it usually normalizes after Meta reconciles the data.
12/28/2025
When duplicating or copy pasting ads/assets, Meta randomly switches the Facebook Page identity to a different Page. Most often in agency accounts, even when no Page change is intended. This can reset whitelisted ads and makes moving assets between campaigns unreliable.
This is a known Meta duplication/identity bug. It’s inconsistent, worsening, and not tied to user actions; advertisers must manually re-check Page identity after every duplicate/copy to avoid mis-launches.
12/11/2025
5:00 am PST - Meta is throwing the error “param child_attachments has too many elements” even on a simple partnership ad using a single IG Reel. This normally relates to carousels or catalog-driven creatives, but in this case it keeps firing even after disabling catalog, removing enhancements, and rebuilding the ad — meaning it’s a Meta-side bug in how the system is interpreting partnership ads + creative attachments.
11:26 am PST - A brand-new ad account isn’t spending despite valid billing, normal budgets, and clean setup. It briefly spent a few dollars, then froze entirely. The only oddity is that the primary card is labeled “backup,” but since it successfully billed once, the issue isn’t payment—it’s Meta’s common “new-account throttling” bug where fresh ad accounts get stuck in an internal review or pacing freeze.
This is not a user-error issue — it’s a Meta delivery bug/limitation with new accounts.
2:00 pm PST - Meta is currently misattributing conversions—reporting more conversions at the ad set level than at the individual ad level. This is a reporting discrepancy bug that’s been happening especially on newly launched ad sets this week.
It’s a Meta reporting bug, not a performance issue or setup mistake.
12/10/2025
7:30 pm PST - Meta is throwing a false “conflicting Instagram user IDs” error during ad publishing, even when only one IG identity is actually selected. This is a current platform-side bug—multiple advertisers are reporting it, and it’s not caused by permissions, identity selection, or partnership settings.
12/8/2025
9:30 am PST - Meta is auto-generating backgrounds in catalog ads even when all AI enhancements and automatic adjustments are turned off. This is a known Meta glitch where catalog ads ignore user settings and apply creative enhancements anyway, even when they’re explicitly disabled.
Meta has stated: “For catalog ads, creative optimizations may be applied automatically to improve predicted performance.”
Catalog ads often ignore enhancement settings, and recent weeks show a spike in unwanted auto-generated backgrounds.
12/5/2025
10:30 am PST - Meta quietly enabled Automatic Adjustments (auto-applied recommendations) in many ad accounts — even if advertisers never turned them on.
Meta globally rolled out Automatic Adjustments tied to their “Opportunity Score.”
Default state = ON, unless you manually turn them off. So the underlying automation is real — the inconsistent behavior is the bug.
12/3/2002
8:40 am PST - A member experienced a sudden drop in outbound clicks / LPVs along with a major spike in cost per LPV overnight, despite no changes on their side and stable cookie opt-ins.
This type of one-day “cliff drop” is commonly caused by a temporary Meta bug or reporting inconsistency, not advertiser changes.
11/29/2025
5:30 pm PST - Meta Payment Failure When Switching Default Card
Meta sometimes blocks new payment methods BEFORE even attempting a real authorization. It happens most often when the account has a large outstanding balance or multiple recent declines. This could happen because it refuses to switch the default payment method until the new card passes an internal risk check
11/28/2025
8:30 pm PST - Multiple ad accounts suddenly unable to process payments within minutes of each other.
Three separate accounts experienced payment processing failures at the same time — indicating a platform-side issue, not isolated billing problems.
11/26/2025
8:25 am PST - Extreme early-day budget over-delivery + key ad sets not spending.
Meta is spending 80%+ of daily budgets before 12pm ET across many accounts — especially on cost cap and bid cap campaigns — while some historically strong ad sets are suddenly not spending at all.
11/25/2025
10:00 am PST - Hourly breakdowns in Ads Manager not loading.
Users are selecting “Breakdown → By Time → Hourly,” but the table never loads — data stays blank or stuck in a loading state for the entire day.
11/24/2025
12:00 pm PST - Headline overrides when applying a Stories placement asset to a Post ID ad.
When a user selects an existing Post ID and then adds a Stories-specific asset under placement customization, Ads Manager momentarily replaces the headline with the destination page’s meta title instead of the headline from the original post.
11/21/2022
10:00 am PST - Text Field Input Glitching / Auto-Jumping While Typing
While building ads, the text editor inside Ads Manager is malfunctioning — typed text disappears, cursor jumps to the end of other text blocks, and fields overwrite themselves. This forces buyers to copy/paste instead of typing directly. Refreshing helps temporarily, but the issue is widespread today.
10:00 am PST - Aggressive early-day over-delivery on Bid Cap campaigns.
This aligns with a known pacing instability currently affecting Meta accounts (especially bid cap & cost cap). When this happens, Meta’s pacing system ignores usual distribution rules and dumps spend early in the day.
10:20 am PST - Users cannot accept or join new Business Manager invitations.
Multiple media buyers have reported the exact issue today — it is not caused by the advertiser, not permissions-related, and not fixable on your end.
11/20/2025
11:14 am PST - “Missing Instagram user ID” Error
Meta is failing to detect the connected Instagram account at the ad-level — even when the IG account is correctly connected in Business Manager and Page Settings.
7:55 am PST - Meta Is Massively Over-Pacing Daily Budgets in the Morning (PST Accounts Hit Hardest)
Advertisers are seeing 50–70% of their daily budgets spent before noon ET, even in accounts that normally pace steadily and don’t ramp until early afternoon. This has been happening for multiple days, across multiple accounts.
11/19/2025
4:00 am PST - Some products cannot be tagged in organic posts
A client can tag certain products in organic posts but others fail to appear as taggable, even though nothing is wrong in Commerce Manager. This is almost always a Shop/Catalog sync glitch or a Meta bug affecting product availability for tagging.
8:30 am PST - Meta Auto-Checks “Show as Carousel” When Using the “Show Products” Enhancement
When advertisers turn on Show products (product tiles below an ad), Meta is automatically enabling the “Show as carousel” option — even if the advertiser did NOT select it. This causes single-image or video ads to be silently converted into full carousel ads based on the selected product set.
2:52 pm PST - Dynamic Creative Error Incorrectly Triggered
The interface shows Products OFF, but the backend still thinks part of your creative belongs to a product-enabled setup, so it requires a product set.
11/18/2025
12:00 am PST - Pixel is firing duplicate events, causing inflated 7DC attribution and inconsistent 7DC vs. 7DC1DV reporting.
4:00 am PST - Ads cannot be toggled on; duplicating and retrying doesn’t fix the activation error.
6:11 am PST - Cloudflare is down, causing client websites and checkouts to stop functioning.
10:55 am PST - Duplicated ads display the same thumbnail in Ads Manager and Ad Library, even though the actual creative in auction is correct.
12:45 pm PST - Pixel suddenly receives 300k–500k+ fake purchase events, even with domain allowlists in place.
2:33 pm PST - Ads are being shut off due to “Creative status is WITH_ISSUES” and an internal processing error when creating ad creative.
