🎨  A new way to analyze creatives

Let’s be frank, there is a LOT happening in the Facebook Ad Buying industry right now. We realize that while many of these changes relate to one another, there are some differences between them and it’s getting a bit confusing. Our aim with this blog is to bring about some clarity and explain how these changes fit together.

In this blog, we cover CAPI, why it's NOT a way around iOS14, attribution changes, cookies (not the chocolate chip kind), domain verification, and prioritizing your account's 8 events.

Pro tip: read all the way to the end. The juicy nuggets just keep getting better and better (IMHO).

A new way to analyze your creatives

Motion is the lightning-fast way to identify your best performing creatives and make them better.

Last week, Chris Mikulin (@cmikulin) used it to discover that top-of-funnel images were outperforming videos by 40%. In a click, he generated a visual report that highlighted these results to his clients - and they loved it!

Job searching?

Check out these 🔥 openings looking for killer marketers like you.

Snappic is hiring for an Account Manager

Snappic has created a powerful marketing platform that applies successful strategies and funnels that big brands use, and make them accessible to smaller stores in the easiest way possible. They also have a great culture (read more about that here).

What makes you a good fit for this role? If you know what a lookalike audience is and how to use it, and what audiences to target at the top of the funnel, middle of the funnel, and bottom of the funnel, keep reading.

In this position, you would help e-commerce brands get to the next level in spend and return with Instagram and Facebook ads by helping them set up and optimize ad funnels. You'll also answer both their technical questions and be a bit of an 'ad therapist' during their growth journey.

Basically, you will be the one to explain the ins and outs of the Facebook Ads Manager platform, as well as help our clients through the more 'emotional' and intangible aspects that come when brands start to scale with ads to make them feel good about the investment they're making.

Sum Digital, Inc. is hiring for a Digital Advertising Associate

Sum Digital is a growth marketing agency made up of a tight-knit group of expert online marketers. They've worked with clients including Lyft, Blenders Eyewear, Pura Vida Bracelets, and others. While their core expertise is Facebook Ads, they consider themselves true students of all online marketing.

Like what you're hearing about the company? Just wait 'til you hear the job duties.

This Digital Advertising Associate role is responsible for supporting Facebook Ads account management for assigned client accounts, and will drive ad strategy, hit client targets, monitor ad campaigns, implement ad testing initiatives, develop and collaborate on ad creative, write compelling ad copy, and deliver weekly advertising updates.

The ideal candidate would have at least one year of ads management experience, proficiency with Microsoft Excel (i.e. pivot charts/tables), and excellent verbal and written communication skills, and we'd love for you to have an understanding of conversion tracking and reporting techniques, a college degree (majors in accounting, economics, advertising/marketing or technical areas a major plus), and have demonstrated thought leadership around online marketing topics.

If you've made it this far, you might be a great candidate for our friends at Sum Digital. Apply now by emailing them at: careers@sumdigital.com.

The Ridge is looking for a new Head of Programmatic YouTube & Display

Ridge Wallets is LA-based (but remote candidates are okay), and is looking for someone to come in and manage programmatic YouTube and Google Display ads. They have spent 7 figures over the last 18 months, and want to scale up these channels with someone who's familiar managing these placements at scale.

Sounds fun, right? Keep reading.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years' experience running 7-figure YouTube/Display campaigns, has an eye for creative and can manage the production of assets (they have creative team and partners to help execute), and understands why they would need YT/GDN in a separate Google Ads account.

The Ridge is a place with a very high ceiling and a lot of opportunity to grow. If you're someone with the right experience and you want to own a channel and grow with the brand, this job application is for you!

Ready to apply? Email connor@ridge.com.
